Our client, a leading oil & gas company in Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a
HSE Engineer
Ideal candidate will hold a B.Sc. Engineering or equivalent degree with a minimum of 10 years experience in HSE management systems and be a member of a recognized International Safety Engineering Organisation. The key result areas of the selected candidate will be to:
- Develop Health, Safety & Environment scope of works for consultants & contractors.
- Develop & update safety and Environment standards, procedures and guidelines in conformity with company policies for use in-house or by the contractors with regard to projects undertaken
- Review the design work of the consultants to ensure conformity with company safety requirements and scope of work
- Provide guidance and support to construction & commissioning at site on safety and environmental matters.
- Assist in the health, safety and environmental impact assessment study for new projects.
- Ensure that state-of-art technology is applied in the selection of safety equipment and both local and other statutory regulations are applied in the projects.
Based in Abu Dhabi, this is a Contract Hire position for one year (renewable).
